James Potter, 17 years of age, and basically the best person you will ever meet.

Gryffindor Chaser and Captain, bloody brilliant Quidditch player, handsome, windswept, talented, clever, hilarious and altogether fun to be around. Oh, and Head Boy, as well.

Gryffindor for the cup!

The three of them made their way back through the forest more slowly than usual because of the injured wolf. Small animal noises left his muzzle as they continued on their journey. His yellow eyes fluttering up to the sky every so often to the soon setting moon. Finally the three of them made it back to the shack and Moony was herded into the upstairs bedroom. As soon as they entered Moony curled up in the corner whimpering. It was only a matter of minutes before the wolf let out a painful howl and the transfoation tool place again. AnImal screams turned human before they died away; a bloodied, shivering, and cut up Remus laid on the floor. Small sounds of pain leaving his lips.

Prongs kept darting his head straight up to look at the rapidly descending mood, snorting in impatience as the three animals trekked back through the forest. He was grateful when they made it back in time, and he stayed in his stag form until at last Remus, fully human and making small whimpering noises, lay prone on the floor. The transformation made the stag uneasy, but not as much as it made the boy, James, when he returned. Feeling useless, he looked out the window and checked the moon; this was the worst bit, the bit in between before Pomfrey arrived, when they couldn’t heal much for fear of arousing suspicion (not to mention fucking things up further). She’d be here soon; James grabbed the Cloak from where they had dropped it.

“We have to go, Padfoot,” he murmured.
